How do I Manage My Account?

Have you tried to manage your EMBARQ high-speed internet account, or your myembarq.com account from the Beta site? Well, if you have, you will have discovered that the Manage My Account feature is not functioning. No worries! It still works if you go back to the original embarq.com. So if you have questions, or just want to check on your account, go back to the classic site, take care of business, and come back here to the Beta!

    The site is great if your into some of the new stuff (facebook, tweeter etc) but what I want is like is on the old site a place where I can go to get my favorite sites It looks good, but those features are very important to me.

    I like the site in a way, but I will be glad once all testing is done and that I can set it up the way I want to. Some new items that I really like is that there is actually real local news and a link for traffic. Since I live in a rural area and have to deal with the tourist traffic going to Kitty Hawk, Nags Head, Corolla etc., it is nice if it can give actual traffic updates.
    The new links for myspace, twitter, facebook etc., are nice, but wonder if I will be able to add personal links rather than having to add to eaither favorites or bookmarks for those who use Firefox.
    The new Local Events area, I like. It gives me a better and slightly easier look at what is upcoming within a radius of where I live and Hampton Roads area of Virginia. So far I like it, but understand, it is like the roads. Work in Progress. lol.

    Can I go back to the Original embarq.com? I can’t find the things I was accustomed to, like breaking news scrolling at top of screen. I know this is a test but I am lost.
